Vicynda sighed quietly, looking at her nails for a long moment before deciding to leave, not without having casted a long, careful look around her to be sure to be completely alone.
Slid in the corridors silent as a spy in her own house, not seen, not heard. Circled a couple of guards with a single, fluid and sensual motion, and her fingers easily found the groove in the stones of the wall, the small metal fragment that she was looking for with confidence. With an imperceptible shutter, a narrow passage opened in the wall. She entered the dark corridor, fast like air, and the invisible door closed behind her. She waved a slender hand into the void, and a soft and cold light brightened the way.
She leaned for a moment the against wall with a small grimace. Not wanted to be seen by anyone. Do not want anybody knew what she was going to do.
An unforgivable weakness - this was, nothing more, and could not lie to herself. Surely she’d to find a way sooner or later, to transform that initial impuls in the last bright victory. On herself, the daughters, on the Council, on the other Houses. Just had to be. But now, in solitude, in silence, shortly before acting, did not see nothing but her own, irritating, unusual weakness .... There was no other way to define it.
Despite having taken a walk, she wondered if it was not appropriate to give up at all, then set aside the thought when she came in front of the door she was looking for.
